Raising Brains Certification for schools

What is #RaisingBrains?

Raising Brains encourages school professionals to see kids like little brains and focus on growing skills, not just managing behavior. The program has a social-emotional skill-building component as well as encourages execution skill-building. There's more to teaching than pure academics! It's about how to learn and how to grow students' brains to be healthy, independent, abstract thinkers with emotional intelligence who can feel happy and connected in relationships and with their community.

What people are saying about Dr. Sarah

“All about the brain, teaching helpful strategies to build new habits and talk through difficulties, not just behavior management but growing into an adult who is self-aware and able to help others work through their big feelings in a healthy way.”

“We learned about how the brain works and why kids aren’t functioning the way we want them to. There were some ideas on how to actually change that in the class. I’d love to hear more classroom ideas as well as using it in the home.”

“Sarah was great! She kept the talk engaging and interesting! A lot of great information and functional strategies were provided and I’m excited to try to implement some! THANK YOU!”

“Learning about innie and outie brains was valuable. I use the breathing technique but was using it for an outie brain at the point of no return. I also have a 5.5 year old with Adhd. I found the adhd examples in your presentation very helpful.”

“A great presentation which gives brain structure/function information and how these structures can help/hinder a student's/adult's ability to handle/express emotions and successfully maneuver through their daily lives.”

“The event was wonderful and a reminder that how to make kids glow and grow for their better future.”
