How to get your kids to be “response-able”?

The more joy and happiness we experience from doing something, the more likely we are to do it again to get that dopamine boost. So, how do you translate that to everyday tasks/chores that you want your kids to complete and take responsibility for and feel proud of their work (in other words, be “response-able”)?
